Getting Ready For Class

  • Bring A CLEAN DRY PAIR OF SHOES or your cycling shoes EITHER WILL WORK WITH OUR BIKES! Do not wear outside shoes in the building.

  • Bring water, wear comfortable clothes, bring a change of clothes for after class.

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before class. We’ll get you checked in and the instructor will help you to properly set up your bike

  • Eat a light snack and get hydrated 60 minutes before class! A heavy meal will slow you down!

  • There are 2 restrooms in the back locker area available if you need to change at the studio. Cubbies and lockers are available to store your belongings!.

what you need to know

Spinning (group cycling) is a great cardio workout to work on speed or build endurance. At Yoga State, we combine a variety of music styles, tempos, resistance settings, and choreography to give you a full body workout and to challenge your muscles in a variety of ways. No prior indoor cycling experience needed!


The instructor will assist new students in proper bike set-up, class structure, and appropriate modifications. Please arrive early if you need assistance so the class can begin on time. Arrive 10-15 minutes before class. We’ll get you checked in and the instructor will help you to properly set up your bike. Bring your water and sweat towel and come prepared to sweat! Bike pedals work with regular gym shoes or SPD shoes. Shoes are not provided. BRING A CLEAN DRY PAIR OF SHOES, OUTSIDE SHOES ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING OR ON THE BIKES.
